It is finally hip to be square!
S/S ‘16 sees the rise of minimal, geometric Jewellery designs.
Everyone is sporting minimal, delicate pendants, tiny triangles, pentagon earrings & Rose Gold symbols carrying a modern, chic & understated message.
From high end designers such as Stephen Webster to high street costume jewellery from Accessorize – geometric jewellery is really starting to take shape for being the main Jewellery trend of 2016.
I am all for dainty Jewellery. Aside from the occasional statement Ring, Bangle & Necklace, my style is very delicate & simple so I absolutely love this trend for 2016.
In January I chose the collections for S/S at Reppin & Jones & discovered a designer that emphasises on all of the above & needless to say I fell in love!
Otis Jaxon is one of the designers I chose for Reppin & Jones.
The Otis Jaxon story started over 20 years ago, when designer Narena set up in an indoor market on the iconic Kings Road & from that humble beginning, Otis Jaxon has grown to become a small, multi-cultural London based team who love thinking, creating and endlessly discussing how to deliver contemporary, wearable jewellery to delight and dazzle!
The fabulous ethos of Otis Jaxon is that the styles & lines appeal to women from all walks of life from supermum to systems analyst or fashionista to farmer. Their aim is to create pieces for every age group and every occasion – whether part of your working wardrobe, your most glamorous party gear or just for a walk with the kids and the dog. In short “Contemporary Classic”.
Their collections are all based in Sterling Silver with options of 18ct Gold – Yellow & Rose – for ultimate occasion manipulation!
The collection is so vast yet still manages to carry a distinct flavour rooting it all back to the brands individuality & ethos for ultimate style & versatility.
Aside from the gorgeous Pentagon Studs shown above, I love these geometric stacking rings…
They are so understated yet completely unusual & original.
This collection is now in store at Reppin & Jones & has already been a huge hit with our customers!
I can see this trend continuing to grow & I’m loving it!
